Responsibilities
As a new member of the team, you will have the pleasure of meeting Beka, SIG’s Vice President of Human Resources. Beka is dedicated to overseeing all people-related policies and operations at SIG and is deeply committed to fostering a positive company culture and ensuring the well-being of employees.
Education
Beka’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in International Affairs and, in 2022, she received a Diversity and Inclusion Professional Certificate from the University of Georgia’s Executive Leadership program. She is an MBA candidate at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business, demonstrating her passion for continuous learning.
Experience
With over 15 years of professional experience, Beka is a highly valued legacy employee who is highly invested in employee engagement and preserving SIG’s unique culture. When she’s not at work, Beka enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, as well as reading and sewing.
Green Interests
Beka also has a passion for green initiatives, such as gardening and caring for her houseplants at home. She takes pleasure in organizing SIG’s philanthropy projects and volunteering at local organizations like Piedmont Park, Dunwoody Nature Center, Furniture Bank of Atlanta, and Project Open Hand.
