As Associate Director of Energy – Decarbonization, Dallas Terry is accountable for various revenue streams such as energy modeling, daylight modeling, decarbonization project studies, zero net energy project studies, and more. He is responsible for performing market research, building partnerships, developing new revenue streams, and implementing training protocols to improve the energy modeling process. Additionally, Dallas manages the engineering intern development program and cross-department project management process.


Dallas has a BS in Environmental Science and an MBA from Maharishi International University (MIU) in Fairfield, IA, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. He also has the following certifications:

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C)


With a background in advising and managing client energy and sustainability programs, Dallas brings a unique skillset to SIG’s work. This provides him with a strategic perspective on the connection between green building projects and overarching client goals and objectives. Dallas also has expertise in renewable energy project consulting and feasibility analysis of various renewable projects.


Dallas has a passion for learning and continuous improvement and a deep interest in reading and writing on topics around sustainability as well as creative writing. He also speaks Spanish and French.

Other personal interests include soccer, guitar, traveling, and cooking.
