Responsibilities
Dylan Gu is a member of SIG’s Engineering Team as an Energy Consultant. He primarily focuses on Commissioning and Energy Audits while assisting in LEED projects.
Education
Dylan graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with integrated bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architectural Engineering. He also obtained Architecture studies and residential construction minors during that time. He has been a member of USGBC and ASHRAE since Junior and believes that sustainability will be the world’s future.
Experience
From his previous experience, Dylan has worked on various building types. His role varies from building mechanical designer, energy modeler, and BIM coordinator to Site inspector. The building types he has worked with include lab, hospital, office building, class building, and library. He’s also part of the USGBC advocacy working group.
Interests
Dylan’s most extensive interest is in exploring good restaurants and bars. He loves to cook and create new dishes with his understanding of the ingredient and mix of western and eastern styles. He’s also into wine and mixology. Although he never went to bartending school, all his friends love his cocktail.
Dylan also loves to play tennis and snowboard. He believes in working hard and playing harder.
