Center for Active Design / Fitwel – The Center for Active Design (the CDC-based organization that runs the Fitwel certification program) came out with a really great article a couple weeks ago on the “5 Ways to Optimize Buildings for COVID-19 Prevention”. It talks about things like increasing ventilation, posting educational signage to encourage handwashing, strengthening cleaning protocols, maintaining humidity, and enhanced filtration of indoor air. NYC Dept. of Health – The NYC Department of Health released a great COVID-19 FAQ guide for Residential and Commercial Buildings that contains a section on specific safety measures building owners and managers can follow. Lots of great info for owners/PMs/engineers here.
