Engineering Analyst

Responsibilities
Zoya Azim works with SIG’s engineering team as an Engineering Analyst. Zoya assists with ASHRAE energy audit calculations and LEED certifications. She also conducts technical research for some of SIG’s international projects, assisting with the development of a framework for energy use intensity (EUI) benchmarking based on local data, codes, standards, and energy efficiency requirements.
Education
Zoya is a current student at Ohio University, expected to graduate in December 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with a minor in Mathematics.
Experience
Her academic and professional interests include robotics, fluid dynamics, and sustainability ethics in engineering. She has previous project experience in PID controller design, gearbox manufacturing processes, and kinematic/dynamic motion analysis.
Interests
In her free time, she enjoys going on picnics with her girlfriend and cat, learning about history, and brushing up on her language skills.
