Later did her Masters in Sustainable Design at Thomas Jefferson University in 2019 and is a LEED AP BD+ C accredited professional.

Working on projects in a metropolitan city in India made her understand the limitations of scope for sustainability and its acceptance for the local market and so Sayali desired to study sustainability in depth and its application for built environment. During her master’s study, she was in the part of team by university assisted local community charrettes for their neighborhood development and assisted for regenerative scopes and synergies for Philadelphia Zoo and presented the scope of future of the ZOO to the governing authority which was highly appreciated. After graduation she worked as sustainability coordinator for an VMA Architects in Philadelphia, assisting and helping the team for LEED v4 BD+C and ID+C of dorms, library, performing center and commercial plazas for Villanova, Lehigh and UPenn Universities.

The Arts Center for Villanova University project was an achievement in her early green building career to certify,  because of post construction and occupied phase of the building made it difficult to re-track the material data sheet for LEED calculator of LEED v3 BD+C.
