We start by drafting a preliminary LEED scorecard which we use to track and refine progress through the project. Our Professional Engineers can collaborate with the Architects in early design development charrettes to kick-off the conversation about energy efficient design. At this stage, we can build and analyze a customized energy model and use the feedback to optimize resource demands of energy use.
As the design becomes more clear and detailed, the certification documentation can begin. We take the most proactive approach by educating all responsible parties about the LEED process and expectations. When it comes time to commission the building, our CxA’s involvement from early on will set up a clear path towards meeting on-time occupancy expectations. We know that your green building project does not end after design and construction. We can help your building maintain sustainable operations by setting up EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager for the property to track and benchmark your operational resource consumption.
