Within just over a year of managing the building, PM Realty Group at the classic Buckhead office tower implemented energy and water-saving retrofits as part of the over-arching sustainability

strategy that earned them LEED Gold for existing buildings at Resurgens Plaza Tower 200. Partnered with SIG, they received this validation on behalf of the owner, CW Capital, who continues to push LEED in Atlanta.
Resurgens Plaza was originally built in 1988 and designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart, & Associate. The plaza overlooks the Buckhead MARTA Station, a key public transit station. Within nine months, from the kickoff meeting between PM Realty Group and SIG, through incentives of alternative community, the LEED project team was able to decrease conventional commutes by 28%. Tower 200 was also able to earn an ENERGY STAR score of 97 after an energy audit and recommendations on how to improve its energy efficiency.
