Senior Sustainability Consultant
Asa Posner works in a project management role on Sustainable Investment Group’s LEED consulting projects and as a LEED Credential Exam Prep trainer. In addition to consulting and training, Asa supports SIG’s technical services and marketing departments.
Asa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in Environmental Studies. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member in the metro-Atlanta sustainability community.
Asa began his career as a sustainability and green building consultant directly after graduating from Emory. In total, he has worked as a project manager on over 150 LEED projects in various market sectors. He has extensive LEED consulting and building commissioning experience on new construction, major renovation, commercial interior, K-12 school, and existing building projects.
Asa’s primary interest in sustainability involves the effects of urbanization and the built environment on ecosystem health. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, playing acoustic fingerstyle blues guitar, and fanatically cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
