Sustainability Analyst

Responsibilities
John Romano-Olsen is a Sustainability Analyst for the Sustainability Team. He helps collect and evaluate data to support Project Managers in achieving proper documentation for certification. He also verifies sustainable best practices for compliance and assists in researching the most up to date green building practices.
Education
John is a senior at the University of Washington double majoring in Environmental Studies and Art with a minor in Urban Planning and Design.
Experience
John is a member of the Food Co-Op, an organization on campus promoting sustainable food systems and equitable access to healthy food. John has also volunteered at the UW Farming assisting in tasks as well as working on farm management and planning.
Interests
In his free time John most enjoys spending time with his friends thrifting, drawing, exploring the city, or watching tv. Additionally, John has an interest in fashion and is learning how to sew and construct garments.
