ESG Data Analyst

Responsibilities
Izzy Romanucci works as an ESG Data Analyst with Sustainable Investment Group’s ESG and Sustainability Teams. Izzy supports data processing needs for energy, waste, and water. She also contributes to writing ESG reporting, including GRESB and CDP, and assists in ENERGY STAR portfolio upkeep and label applications.
Education
Izzy is a senior majoring in Environmental Science at the University of Chicago.
Experience
Through her previous roles, Izzy has built her skills in environmental research, data analysis, and technical writing. She worked as a Research Assistant in a Geophysical Sciences laboratory to investigate scientific literature and compile fossil specimens and geographical data sets. As a Data Analyst intern with Water for Good, a non-profit that alleviates water poverty in the Central African Republic, she supported water projects by analyzing and modeling data on pump placement, functionality, and maintenance. Most recently, with Environmental Frontiers, Izzy has contributed to sustainability projects in alignment with the University of Chicago’s goals to reduce GHG emissions.
Interests
Izzy is eager to learn more about creating a sustainable and ethical built environment to coexist with our natural world. She enjoys creating joyful meals, walking her dog, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.
