The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo will be held this year from November 20-22 in Philadelphia. This year’s expo is titled: Greenbuild Nation 2013. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone interested in green buildings to join us at the world’s largest conference and expo on this topic. Last year SIG sent several team members to the conference, and looks forward to going this year as well. We love going to this massive event and encourage others to participate as well. It is a great chance to learn and meet industry leaders, experts and professionals who are dedicated to the creation and use of sustainable buildings.
The expo’s posted schedule shows a variety of entertaining events: tours, workshops, summits, and education sessions are available. These events give one a chance to meet and network with green building colleagues, and to learn from international representatives. The world of green design is constantly changing and improving; the expo offers attendees the ability to stay current with all the exciting new features in this field. Each person will hopefully leave the conference with a reinforced drive to promote and apply sustainable design.
Another exciting feature about the expo is the keynote speaker. This year the speaker will be Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. What a great way to start off this thrilling event!
