Position Title: Energy Consultant

Job Location

Atlanta, GA (Telecommuting from any location in the U.S. is an option for this position).

Duties:

Plan, lead and manage a variety of projects including energy audits, LEED for Existing Buildings projects, Commissioning and Energy Modeling projects. Support ASHRAE Energy Audits, Energy Modeling, Commissioning, LEED EB and ENERGY STAR projects. Responsible for: managing multiple green building projects for commercial real estate clients (including Energy Audits, Commissioning, Energy Modeling, ENERGY STAR, LEED for Existing Buildings, etc); leading project meetings and create a forum for collaboration between project team members; supporting LEED EB and Energy Audit projects and commissioning and Retro-Commissioning projects nationwide; maintaining project schedules and budgets for multiple projects on different timelines; and facilitate local site visits for multiple project types including ENERGY STAR, Energy Audits, IAQ testing, etc. Project travel expected (15-25%) domestic U.S.

Requirements

Master degree in Sustainable Design, Architectural Engineering, or closely related degree plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, Energy Modeler, Mechanical Engineer, or closely related position. Experience which may have been obtained concurrently must include 2 years of experience with energy modeling and maintaining project schedules. Must have professional certification in LEED AP Building Design + Construction and must have membership certificate with ASHRAE.
