Emma Maltos works with Sustainable Investment Group’s Consulting team as a Sustainability Coordinator. Her duties include helping the SIG consultants and project managers by working on LEED, WELL, and Fitwel certification projects. She ensures that all the necessary data required is obtained and verified as compliant by gathering information, documenting, and evaluating key reporting data throughout the WELL, Fitwel, and LEED green building certification timeline.
Emma is a senior at Kennesaw State University and is studying Environmental Science. She is planning to graduate fall semester of 2021.
Emma was originally studying Nursing at Georgia Gwinnett College as a dual enrollment student then transferred to Kennesaw State University. She then discovered her passion in sustainability through a Geology course. Since then, Emma has begun research at Kennesaw State on the synchrony in the timing of breeding in European Starlings across North America, and also has continued to volunteer for her community through equestrian therapeutic riding in Kennesaw, GA.
Emma likes to learn inside and outside of the classroom, so she chooses to spend a lot of her time outside hiking, biking and exploring Georgia with her dog. She also enjoys picking up new hobbies with her family and friends.
