Sustainability Analyst

Responsibilities
Ella Bormet is a Sustainability Analyst for the Sustainability Team. She helps collect and evaluate data to support Project Managers in achieving proper documentation for certification. She also verifies sustainable best practices for compliance and assists in researching the most up to date green building practices.
Education
Ella is a senior at Cornell University studying Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in Urban Planning and a minor in Climate Change. Graduating in May 2024.
Experience
Ella worked as a Clean Energy Planning Intern in a local municipality. She gained knowledge in best practices for municipalities to lower greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. She worked in data tracking these emissions for the town and helped upload documentation to apply for grants for the town.
Ella also volunteered with a company called Dish Truck, a local sustainability effort to eliminate plastic, one-time use dishware at events and festivals.
Interests
Ella enjoys working out and lifting. She throws hammer on the Track and Field team at Cornell. In her free time she also loves hanging out with friends, chilling with her cat Stinky, and watching reality TV!
