
Energy Data Analyst

Responsibilities
Delaney Horton is an Energy Data Analyst at SIG. Her responsibilities include interacting with Energy Star Portfolio Manager Portal and verifying, uploading, and organizing energy data. She assists the Energy Star team with certifications and research while supporting data collection and processing efforts for energy, waste, and water. Additionally, she is responsible for researching and monitoring changes to benchmarking, retro-commissioning, and building performance ordinances.
Experience
Delaney has internship experience in local government and sustainable development. Her studies have provided her with a background in environmental economics, community development, and sustainable design. She works concurrently as a campus ambassador for The Environmental Defense Funds’ Defend Our Future Program as well as an undergraduate researcher for The Ohio State University ecological engineering department, where she participates in a city-wide green infrastructure project.
Education
Delaney is a senior at Ohio State University, majoring in Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability with a minor in Landscape Architecture. After she graduates in spring of 2024, she plans to attend graduate school for a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
Interests
In her free time, Delaney enjoys rock climbing, playing solitaire, and watching movies.
