Corinne Wichser is the Director of Sustainability – Built Environment at SIG where she leads operational and strategic matters as they relate to the consulting department. She oversees the consulting department and provides project management support developing and implementing sustainability goals on select projects, including LEED certifications, Living Building Challenge certifications, and WELL certifications. Additionally, Corinne develops strategic growth strategies, especially in her passion areas of energy efficiency, Net Zero planning, and Indoor Air Quality.
Education
Corinne graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After working in the HVAC design industry, she went on to receive her Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
Experience
Corinne Wichser has an extensive background in sustainability within the built environment with over 10 years of experience in the industry as an energy/sustainability consultant in architect and engineering firms. Corinne’s expertise includes net-zero planning, energy efficiency assessments and benchmarking, certifications (LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, etc), and project sustainability feasibility planning.
Interests
When Corinne isn’t chasing her two young children around in Minneapolis, she can be found at the cabin, swimming and bike riding.
