Carlin is an ESG Data Analyst with the ESG team at Sustainable Investment Group. In this role, Carlin supports and assists various ENERGY STAR, GRESB, and CDP projects through data collection and processing.

Carlin holds a BA from Saint Mary’s College of California, where she double majored in Political Science and Religious Studies. During this time, she was also a Division I soccer team member. Carlin is attending the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing a Masters of the Environment graduate Degree specializing in sustainable food systems.

In her graduate work, Carlin gained corporate sustainability experience through her graduate capstone project with Bonterra Organic Estates, one of the nation’s largest organic wineries, where she helped create an employee engagement curriculum, track and report carbon emissions, and develop science-based targets.

At the University of Colorado Boulder, Carlin has worked with the CU Environmental Center and Athletics Department to advance the university’s sports sustainability goals. In this role, Carlin conducted a comprehensive carbon inventory for the athletics department and submitted this inventory to be successfully certified under the United Nation’s Sports for Climate Action Framework.

She also led food donation efforts for the 2022 Football season. Through this, she donated over 2,000 lbs of food from football games to local organizations in the Boulder, CO community.

In her free time, Carlin enjoys trying new restaurants and pottery and exploring local hikes in the Colorado Front Range. When back home in Northern California, Carlin loves spending time in the ocean.
