Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated her expertise in executing ESG surveys and frameworks, including GRESB, CDP, GRI, SASB, and ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year, for a wide range of public and private companies to effectively communicate the environmental impact of their businesses. Additionally, Amanda has managed over 2.5 million square feet of sustainable and healthy building projects for commercial real estate clients, leading each project to achieve certifications such as LEED/Arc, Fitwel, Fitwel VRM, and WELL HSR. With experience in both Green Building Consulting and ESG Consulting, Amanda developed a diverse skillset and a comprehensive understanding of project management at both property and corporate levels.

Amanda graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environment Science (B.S.E.S) in Environmental Economics and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology. Her studies also included a minor in Environmental Law and a certificate in Sustainability.

Prior to joining SIG, Amanda gained exposure to sustainability through six internships. Her journey began in 2018, when she worked with the Cobb County Watershed Stewardship Program as their Environmental Programs Intern, focusing on educational programs. In 2019, she became an Environmental Policy Intern with the UGA River Basin Center, researching water management programs.

That summer, she interned with the Student Conservation Association (SCA), working with youth outreach, education, and community engagement at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. She then became the Recycling Intern for Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department, researching plastic bag legislation and marketing for community events. Amanda’s most recent internships focused on business sustainability at UPS and Gables Residential.

In these positions, she worked heavily in data analysis, creating a database to analyze shipping data and calculate Scope 3 emissions for each ocean movement for UPS and analyzing and quality checking waste, water, and energy data for Gables Residential.

Amanda enjoys learning about new strategies for sustainable development from around the world. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, whether it be through hiking, sports, or simply sitting outside with a book. She is passionate about music and loves discovering new artists and branching out to listen to different genres.
