Overview
750 7th Avenue is a multi-tenant office building with retail on the ground level and is located one block from Times Square in Manhattan, NY on the edge of the Times Square Special Theater District. The 36-story, 620,000 square foot office tower holds offices for Morgan Stanley as well as the law firm Mendes & Mount.
The award-winning architectural firm, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates (KRJDA), in Hamden, CT, designed the building. The building’s continuous helix design, culminating in a chimney-like extension, was created to accommodate the New York City Building Code, which requires setbacks. The 84 exterior column transfers exist because of the owner’s requirement for a column-free space. As of June 2014, it is tied with the New York Life Building for the 74th tallest building in New York City.
The building is managed by Hines and owned by Fosterlane Management from Kuwait.
